An abdominal ultrasound is used to assess the organs and structures within the abdomen including the liver, gallbladder, pancreas, bile ducts, spleen, and abdominal aorta.

An arterial duplex ultrasound uses sound waves to create a color map of the arteries in your legs to identify narrowing of your vessels caused by plaque that may be causing leg pain when walking.

An aorta ultrasound views the aorta, the main blood vessel leading away from the heart, can check for plaque or aortic aneurysm, and show the blood flow in real time.

A breast ultrasound shows the internal structures of the breast and is used to help diagnose breast lumps or other abnormalities found during a physical exam or mammogram.

A carotid ultrasound evaluates the structural details of the carotid arteries and is used to diagnose carotid artery stenosis and can assess atherosclerotic plaque morphology and characteristics.

An echocardiogram ultrasound can show the heart beating and pumping blood. It can be used to identify heart disease, heart function, or a leaky valve.

An joint ultrasound is used to show muscles, tendons, ligaments, nerves and joints throughout the body. It can help diagnose sprains, strains, tears, trapped nerves, effusions and other musculoskeletal conditions.

A kidney ultrasound is used to assess the size, location, and shape of the kidneys and related structures, such as the ureters and bladder. It can also detect cysts, tumors, abscesses, obstructions, fluid collection, infection within or around the kidneys and blood supply.

A pelvic ultrasound can help find problems with the structure of uterus or ovaries, cancer in ovaries, uterus, or bladder, or growths like noncancerous tumors, fibroids, or cysts or locate the cause of abnormal bleeding or pain.

A renal artery ultrasound focuses on blood vessels in the kidneys where placque can build up and cause kidney failure or high blood pressure.

A scrotum ultrasound is used to help evaluate disorders of the testicles, epididymis (tubes immediately next to the testicles that collect sperm) and scrotum. It can help find the reason for pain or swelling and show a cyst (fluid-filled sac), turmo, torsion or infection.

A thyroid ultrasound can look for abnormalities or possible a growth. It can also check for reasons of an underactive or overactive thyroid gland.
